Frequently asked questions
- What if the overlay has fewer pages than the document?
- Pages are paired in order and the overlay loops from the start until every page of the document is processed.
- Can the stamp appear on every page or only the last?
- For long documents use repeat-last-page, which is designed for spreading a signature or stamp page across the whole file or to the end.
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. Everything runs in your browser and there is no upload endpoint, so the server never sees your content.
- How large a file can I use?
- Stay under about 100 MB and a few thousand pages. Speed and memory depend on your own device.
- Is it free? Do I need an account?
- It is completely free with no usage limit, and no sign-up or login is required.
- Does it work on phones?
- Yes, the layout is responsive. Large files and complex edits are easier on a desktop.
- Which browsers are supported?
- Any modern browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and their mobile versions.
- Does it work with scanned PDFs?
- Yes for page-level operations, which do not need a text layer. There is no OCR, so text cannot be pulled out of a scan.
