To pick up a new direction, Coursera and edX are the systematic options and Udemy skews towards professional skills; MIT OpenCourseWare, Khan Academy and Chemistry LibreTexts are free to study without enrolling, the last being an open chemistry textbook and courseware library. Free rarely means unrestricted — certificates on most platforms still cost money or require a minimum progress, so check whether you actually need one before registering. Recording and subtitle quality differ a lot between platforms for the same course, and subtitle availability is worth checking first for Chinese-language material. Postgraduate entrance exam sits in the same group: the CHSI YZ portal is the official registration and admissions-query route, while kaoyan.com carries score-line discussion and first-hand experience.
