Privacy Policy
This site is a static directory of links. Here is exactly what it records, what it does not, and how to switch each part off.
What we actively collect
Two things only: Google Analytics 4 traffic measurement, and interface preferences kept in your browser. There is no sign-up, login, comment box or checkout, so we never ask for your email, name or phone number.
Preferences are your light/dark theme, the sites you star, and which groups you collapsed. They live in localStorage on your own device under nav-theme, nav-fav and nav-collapsed, are never sent to us, and disappear when you clear browsing data.
Server logs
The site runs on nginx, which writes the standard web-server access log: IP address, request time and path, HTTP status code, referer and user agent.
Those logs are used for troubleshooting, abuse detection and security only. They are rotated daily, compressed, and kept for no longer than 14 days.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-5X2CXV6F7W) to see page views, referrers and rough regions, which tells us which sections are worth maintaining. It uses cookies and device identifiers; data is processed by Google and may be transferred to its servers outside your region. We only read aggregated reports and make no attempt to re-identify anyone.

Advertising and cookies (applies once ads are enabled)
The site uses Google AdSense with auto ads, so Google decides where and how large an ad is. We do not write, select or order the advertisements.
To serve, personalise and measure ads, Google and its partners use cookies in your browser, and may use your earlier or later visits to other sites. Google will only associate information about your interaction with ads on this site with other information it holds about you.
You can manage or personalise ads at any time in Google Ads Settings (https://myadcenter.google.com/ and https://www.google.com/settings/ads), and opt out of other networks' personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices. Those pages are not controlled by us; follow their current wording.
Ads may still appear if you opt out of personalisation. Whether an ad is shown never changes which links we list or in what order.
Visitors from the EU/EEA and UK
Serving ads to the European Economic Area requires publishers to use a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP). When advertising is enabled we integrate such a component and you will see a consent prompt on your first visit; if you see no prompt, advertising to European traffic was not live at that moment.
Third-party links and content ownership
This is a directory: the bulk of each page is another site's name, a one-line description and a link. Once you click through you have left us, and that site's own privacy practices apply. We cannot bind them on your behalf, so check their terms before anything important.
Names, marks and material of listed sites belong to their owners; we use them only to identify and navigate to them.
Search submission (IndexNow)
We submit URL lists to the IndexNow endpoints used by Bing, Yandex and other engines. That payload contains which addresses changed and nothing about visitors — no IPs, no cookies.
Children
The site is intended for study and research generally, is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Write to the address below if you believe a child's information has reached us through this site.
Your rights and how to reach us
Because we hold no account data tied to an identifiable person, there is usually nothing to delete. For questions about logs, measurement or ad processing — or to ask us to correct or remove a listing — write to jiangnan.chemistry@gmail.com. Letters naming the exact URL are handled fastest.
Changes to this policy
When the site changes in a way that touches data (a new form, a different measurement or ad provider, a new log retention period) this page is updated and the effective date at the top moves. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
